The Nature Park Trudner Horn offers a lot of attractions. On the one hand the Park houses the most various flora and fauna of all Nature Parks in South Tyrol and on the other hand there is a particular attraction: the canyon of Bletterbach, the only canyon of South Tyrol.

In the Bletterbach Canyon visitors get information about the development of the Dolomites and search fossils (but do not take them away!). A visit in the Bletterbach Canyon is an unforgettable experience!

Apart from the Bletterbach Canyon the Nature Park Trudner Horn belonging to the Mounts Weißhorn, Schwarzhorn and to the villages of Altrei, Montan, Neumarkt, Salurn and Truden. The park is located in the south of Bozen. It is situated between the end of the Fleimstal Valley in the north, the Cembra Valley in the south-east and the Etsch Valley from Neumarkt to Salurn in the west.

The species diversity of fauna and flora in the Trudner Horn Nature Park is unique compared with other South Tyrolean nature parks, because this park hosts plants and animals typical to the sub-Mediterranean climatic zone.

The Nature Park house is situated in Truden.
