Around the marvellous symbol of South Tyrol, the Mount Schlern, the Schlern Rosengarten Nature Park is extended on 6796 hectares. Schlern Rosengarten is a paradisiacal territory for excursionists, mountaineers and lovers of nature.

The Schlern-Rosengarten is belonging to the villages of Kastelruth, Völs am Schlern and Tiers. The Mount Schlern, which gives its name to the park, is a massif typical to the Western Dolomites and how mentioned a symbol of South Tyrol.

Also parts of the nature park are the mountain forests around Tiers, Völs and Seis as well as the valley Tschamintal near Tiers.
