A beautiful excursion on a glacier combined with an airy fixed roperoute along amazing snowfields!

The Schwarzensteinhütte is the ideal starting point for other –longer- excursions on the surrounding glaciers or to the other refuges like the Chemnitzer Hütte, the Berliner Hütte… There are two main possibilities to reach the Schwarzensteinhütte in South Tyrol: taking the assured path across the glacier or the cliffy mountain via the fixed rope route "Kamin". We recommend to hire a mountain guide if you don’t have a lot of experience!
