To Mount Piz da Peres
The Mount Piz da Peres is a really shapely mountain in the South of Mt. Kronplatz in the Dolomites in South Tyrol and a rewarding peak for everyone who like short tours and who contemporary don’t want to renounce to rocky parts.
The ascent which we recommend here, is leading through the North Face to the peak of Mt. Piz da Peres at 2507 m above sea level.
The excursion starts at
Furkel-pass which connects the villages
Olang
and
St. Vigil in Enneberg. At the refuge we take path 3 and soon path
12b. The path is leading through a nice wood and over the ski-slope "Pre da Peres" to the summit station of the lift. There begins a small
path which brings you to some
beautiful panoramic-points. Now the path
become steeper and more spectacular, here you have to be free of
dizziness! After about 1,5 hours you reach the grassy ridge of Mt. Piz
da Peres and soon also the peak of the beautiful mountain. The
view
over the mountains of the Dolomites is fantastic and you can even see
the mountains of the main-alp-crest. Amazing!
To ridge the peak you need about 2,5 hours, for the descent however 1 hour.
