Mount Kronplatz and its surroundings are actually known as winter-sports-destination. With 109 slope-kilometers, the skiing resort of Kronplatz is the biggest in whole South Tyrol.

But also in summer the mountain and the surrounding territories offer a lot to sporty people.

For example the biggest Nature.Fitness.Park™ of Europe. On 275 km Nordic Walkers can do their favorite sports. The Nordic-walking-area runs from Bruneck, Pfalzen, Olang, Rasen-Antholz to Tesselberg and Mühlbach. Most of the trails are easy or medium difficult and they come across in every altitude. A really special attraction for Nordic walkers is located in Mühlbacher Tal Valley, where you can do kneippism in pure glacier water after the walking tour.

The tourism offices in the Kronplatz area provide a lot of Nordic walking courses in summer hold by certified instructors. They also offer guided excursions: Nordic walking with friends and like-minded people is always funnier than Nordic walking alone.
