Visitors do a time travel, when they visit the Castle Ehrenburg. The castle shows ancient furniture from baroque times and gives information about way of living centuries ago.
The Castel Ehrenburg is situated in Pustertal Valley in the Dolomites on a hill in the village of Ehrenburg. There, apart from ancient furniture, you can see also marvellous arcades of the baroque centuries. The castle is in propriety of the Earls of Künigl since many centuries and thanks to them the castle is in a perfect state.
How to reach
The 2,5 km hiking tour begins in the centre of Ehrenburg. On the "Schlossweg" you reach the castle in a half of an hour. You can lengthen the tour, going to the Gasthaus Knapp and taste there typical specialities from Pustertal Valley. After visiting the castle, you can discover the surroundings of Ehrenburg.
