How to behave ion South Tyrolean Mountains
To guarantee that the next mountaineers find the same conditions that you did we recommend to consider the following tips.
Erosion and trampling damage
Trampling paths to meadows are destroying the grass and cause erosion.
To avoid this please walk only on marked paths and trails and do not
take other ways.
Garbage
Box your foodstuff not in plastic bags but take cotton bags. Don’t leave any garbage in the landscape.
Noise
Don’t disturb the
habitat of animals by making unneeded noise.
Danger of forest fire
Don’t smoke in forests and make no fire.
Do not depredate nature
Don’t take away protected crops or remove woods. Mushrooms and berries are important forages for wild animals.
Traffic
Take public transports like trains, busses or cable cars. Leave your car at home or on declared parking places.
Backcountry skiing
Don’t ski in forests to not disturb the animals. Take marked forest paths.
Be a role model
Be a role model and show kids the beauty of nature and most of all respect fort he nature.
