Climbing Parks in Prags

1. Lake Prags **

The climbing park offers a unique view of the lake Prags. Rocky dolomite and notches.

Route: you park directly to the lake Prags.
Access: from left or right turn around the lake until wooden sign "Gym rock"
Difficulty: 4 up to 5a; 6 from 6a to 6c; 3 from 6c to 7b; 1 from 7b to 8a.

2. Polentablock - Lake Prags **

The climbing park was opened above the lake. Beware of snakes during the ascent.

Route: park at Lake Prags
Access: walking on the right side of the lake for 10 min. Up to the picnic. From here climb to the canyon of gravel to get to the block (blue arrows). The boulder 8 and 9 are on the block at about 20 meters below the freeze "Polenta.
Difficulty: 1 from 6a to 6c; 1 from 6c to 7b; 6 from 7b to 8a.

3. Hotel - Lake Braies ***

This area is located behind the hotel, offers a lot of ways, dolomite, climbing strapiombante on net holes and notches.

Route: you park at Lake Prags
Access: follow the forest trail behind the hotel, for a few metres, then go left and follow the blue arrows.
Difficulty: 2 from 5a to 6a; 7 from 6a to 6c; 8 from 6c to 7b; 9 from 7b to 8a.

4. Brüggele - Braies **

This is the oldest cliff Valley of Prags, but also the most popular. Dolomia, climbing varies.

Route: it goes towards Welsberg, enters the Valley of Prags, turn left, towards Prato Piazza. Leave your camera in the hotel parking Bruggele.
Access: Follow the paved road up to the first bend, cross the stream and continue right up to the wall.
Difficulty: 3 up to 5a; 8 from 5a to 6a; 5 from 6a to 6c;4 from 6c to 7b.

5. Kirchler Braies ***

Roads sunny and demanding, rock and perfect scenery. Limestone, heels and holes net.

Route: enter the Valley Braies between Villabassa and Monguelfo and from there continue on the left towards Prato Piazza. Parking next to the road under the cliff.
Access: Prato Piazza follow the path up to number 3 Crag.
Difficulty: 1 from 5a to 6a; 7 from 6a to 6c; 9 from 6c to 7b.

6. Platzweise - Braies ***

The countryside offers the cliff is really dream! Difficulties of low and average, climbing for the most part on vertical limestone. There are also steps friable.

Route: ranging from Brunico to Monguelfo you enter the Valley of Prags, and continue to Prato Piazza.
Access: From the parking lot continue to 200 m, follow the fence to get to trail number 3, to follow up streets.
Difficulty: 2 up to 5a; 9 from 5a to 6a; 13 from 6a to 6c; 6 from 6c to 7b; 1 from 7b to 8a.

7. Schneastapfa - Braies ***

The area deserves to be visited especially in the winter! Dolomia with notches and holes net.

Route: You park at parking Prato Piazza
Access: continue on foot on the path to the forest until Gaisl Hohe. From there you climb through the woods, across the fence, cross the lawn until the fence.
Difficulty: 2 up to 5a; 2 from 5a to 6a; 7 from 6a to 6c; 6 from 6c to 7b; 4 from 7b to 8a.
